I’m thrilled to share some exciting news about the incredible work being done by the Masters Club, of which I am a proud founding member. For those who don’t know, the Masters Club (formerly known as the Five Million Dollar Club) was established back in 1990 with a simple yet powerful mission: to bring together real estate agents who not only excel in their sales records but also demonstrate unwavering professionalism and ethical standards.
One of the core objectives of the Masters Club is to foster a sense of camaraderie among top-producing REALTORS® who share a common commitment to excellence. By creating a platform for communication, education, and support, we’ve built a tight-knit community of professionals over the years who continuously strive for greatness in their careers.
Being a founding member of the Masters Club has been an absolute privilege for me. I’ve had the opportunity to witness firsthand the remarkable impact we’ve made not only in real estate but throughout Anne Arundel County, the community that we call home. It’s a testament to the dedication and generosity of our members, and I couldn’t be prouder to be a part of this extraordinary group.
In 2022 alone, we had the privilege of presenting over $14,000 in donations to 11 outstanding local Anne Arundel County charities. From fighting hunger through the Anne Arundel County Food Bank to empowering young minds at the Boys & Girls Club of Annapolis & Anne Arundel County, we’re making a difference in the lives of those who need it most.
Our commitment also extends to dogs, who play a vital role in keeping our community safe. The Chesapeake K9 Fund receives our support as we rally behind our local law enforcement K-9 units, ensuring they have the resources they need to protect and serve.
We’re equally passionate about supporting the well-being and recovery of women and children in need. Organizations like Chrysalis House provide comprehensive programs and services that transform lives, while Anne Arundel County CASA, Inc. advocates for abused and neglected children, ensuring they have a voice and a chance for a better future.
Promoting inclusivity and celebrating the inherent strengths of individuals with Down syndrome is another cause close to our hearts. Through our partnership with GiGi’s Playhouse Annapolis, we’re working together with local businesses and organizations to raise awareness, educate, and celebrate the remarkable abilities of these individuals within our community.
Homelessness is an issue we’re determined to address as well. That’s why we lend our support to the Lighthouse Shelter, which not only offers immediate shelter but also empowers individuals by providing them with the necessary tools and resources to regain independence and stability.
Mental health is another cause we champion through our collaboration with the National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI). By advocating for accessible services, treatment, and
support, we’re standing up for individuals in need and working to build a community of hope and understanding.
Additionally, we support organizations like Serving People Across Neighborhoods (SPAN) that provide critical assistance to individuals and families facing emergency situations, as well as the VET Center of Annapolis, offering crucial counseling and services to combat veterans transitioning to civilian life.
Last but certainly not least, we stand alongside the YWCA of Annapolis & Anne Arundel County, committed to creating an environment where women and girls can thrive. With a focus on eliminating racism, empowering women, and promoting peace, justice, freedom, and dignity, the YWCA plays a vital role in our community.
